What about en passant??

(+1)

Being that pieces take more than one move to kill, en passant didn't fit too much with the design of the game. I thought of including it in some way, maybe specific to one Set or one Unique piece, but so far I haven't come up with a good design for it. Maybe in future versions if I keep updating the game.

Oh, and what about castling too?

(1 edit)

Castling was in the first prototype, back then it created a big balance issue with the Russian Set specifically, and it was scrapped. After version 0.3 the gameplay changed completely and I think castling could be viable again. Unfortunately study, work and other projects have put a halt to many features I planned to include in next versions.

The game is pretty neat. Simple and to the point, I loved the different version of chess presented and a story line to go along with it. Kudos, keep up the good work !

I case anyone was wondering, the HTML version seems to work flawlessly on Android :P

Thanks! Ive tried to design the game so it can be played on phones. If anyone detects a problem with a certain resolution, or find the UI not adequate for phones, please let me know!

Please, make a downloadable version for PC.

Hi!

I added a downloadable version of the latest build. Just unzip and play. I have only tested it on Windows, but it should work in Linux as well. Let me know if you had any kind of issue

just because it works in Windows doesn't mean it will run in Linux. you will need wine for that to work

You are completely right. I would have to make a different build to have it working on Linux natively. Thanks!
